Mighty Harvest



Mighty Harvest offers a wide selection of vertically grown greens!  All of Mighty Harvest’s crops are grown in their vertical farm, year round, and without the use of pesticides or herbicides. Derrik and his team focus on trying to reduce the time between harvest and getting their greens into your hands to ensure maximum freshness and less food waste. Being a vertical farmer means that Derrik is not only able to grow nutritious crops to share with the community, this is something he can do year round.

Derrik supports Graze & Gather's mission of looking after people and the environment. Mighty Harvest looks after the people who work for them by paying, at minimum, the living wage determined by the Ontario Living Wage Network. To support the environment, Mighty Harvest uses less land, less water (by 90%!) and no soil in their growing. All of these growing methods are environmental improvements when compared to traditional agriculture.

Derrik and his team is most proud of the community that they have been able to build, with people who are inspired to eat healthier because of the greens they are able to supply year-round. They hope that you enjoy their greens, and learn new ways to incorporate the different greens into your eating.
